  • Client Services Associate:
    Museum software company seeks computer nerd with social skills Museum software company seeking entry-level, self-starter to work in our Evanston, IL, Help desk. Ideal candidate is a recent college grad with an Art History, Liberal Arts, or Social Science background combined with Computer Science coursework or experience. Enjoy working in a relaxed and casual environment in downtown Evanston with easy access to the CTA purple line and Metra.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Answering support calls and emails
    • End-user training at client sites (travel 3-6 days/month)
    • Producing/distributing upgrades
    • Product testing
    • Writing newsletters and documentation

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Ability to travel (US and abroad)
    • Proficiency in Windows and/or Mac
    • Ability and initiative to acquire new skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of Access/Oracle/SQL Server/Crystal Reports preferred, but not required.

  • Sales Associate:
    Great opportunity for the right individual who is motivated, successful, entrepreneurial and wants to grow with a company. The successful candidate will be a key person in the company with growth potential. He/she will develop marketing plans and implement sales. The position involves understanding and communicating our competitive differentiation and demonstrating the unique functionality of our collection management and Internet applications for museums and archives.
    Applicants should be able to make cold calls and develop sales channels from leads generated by the company. We are looking for detail oriented, well organized individuals who possess a strong drive, integrity, & enthusiasm for sales.
    The ideal candidate will possess the following:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Proven success in an inside sales environment
    • Consultative approach to selling software
    • Career or volunteer experience with non-profits
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Windows computer systems proficiency including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
    • Understanding of computer systems and components
    Hours - Full time, exempt
