TriO runs on Microsoft Internet Information Systems (IIS). The full version of IIS requires Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 Server. If a Windows Server machine equals or exceeds the recommended minimum hardware specifications published by Microsoft, it should be more than adequate for usage of TriO.

Minimum server requirements for Intranet or Information Kiosk setup:

• PC server with a Pentium 233MHz processor (450MHz preferred) with Microsoft Internet Information Systems (IIS)
• For Server: Windows NT or Windows 2000 network operating system
• 128MB of RAM (256MB of RAM recommended, the more data and users, the more RAM needed)
• Network card
• 10 GB hard drive or more
• CD-ROM drive
• Server backup hardware and software

Minimum requirements for Internet Host Provider for Internet setup:

• Microsoft Internet Information Systems (IIS)
• Access to a directory with read and write privileges
• 100 MB of disk space (100MB recommended, larger media may require more storage space)
• FTP access
• ASP support
• Daily Backups
