The Master Catalogue provides a clean, logical arrangement of data with only those fields required by the user presented in the format that the user dictates-all on one screen so that the user will not have to page through forms to look for important data. Custom Catalogue  MIMSY XG allows the system administrator to easily customize the Master Catalogue screen for each user in their institution. The fields that appear, the content control files that are related to each field, the font used, and the order that the fields appear in, are just a few of the features that can be easily changed to accommodate the needs of each user. These changes can be made by the system administrator in seconds. Adding Media to Files  An unlimited number media files can be added and displayed for each item in MIMSY XG. Adding media to a record is extremely easy and requires ABSOLUTELY NO TYPING. A user simply opens their Windows browser to the file containing the media, and then drags and drops the image file onto the media view screen in the module they are working in. If it is an image, it is automatically resized to fit the standard thumbnail size and a master Media Authority record will automatically be created for the media. External Image Browser  This browser, which exists outside of the database and can actually be used as an alternative, image-based CMS, allows users to load images either individually or by groups, e-mail images through the user's external communications system, create and manage new groups of images, and allows the user to save these new groups in the order in which you have arranged them on the screen. Easy Export  Users can export selected records from every module of the system into programs like MS Word and Excel with one command.
