The Mobile Museum for MIMSY XG is a revolutionary new suite of applications designed to simplify everyday tasks with sophisticated offline assistance tools. The Mobile Museum is based on the Palm Computing Platform and can be loaded on to any PALM OS compatible handheld. Willoughby currently offers two utilities and our programmers can also build custom utilities to meet the unique requirements of institutions.

The Mobile Museum Audit application allows the user to download a subset of their collection data into the Palm, take it into the collection and update location and condition records. After the desired changes are made and records are amended, users simply put the Palm in the Hot Sync cradle, and the new information is integrated into the collection database.

The Mobile Museum Curator Module allows users to download catalogue records into a Palm so that a curator, educator, scholar, or guest can take full catalogue records into the collection or remote storage areas for reference purposes.

Coming Soon… The Mobile Location Module will allow a user to download location records into the Palm Unit and update the location of the items in the group. Multiple moves can be recorded per item and uploaded into the database.
