Möbius Web Publishing Software gives you the power to put your collections on the web, in a kiosk, or at an information desk for quick access by your visitors. Customize Look and Feel
Möbius includes a set of open source templates that are fully customizable. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) manage all the elements of the visual presentation so changes to the color palette, element positions, fonts, and font sizes can quickly and easily be made. If you need some extra help, we can make the changes for you or you can pass the pages along to your web development team.

Control Record Display
Staff can flag individual records and their related media in order to control the data and digital files available in Möbius. Since data and images are flagged separately, you can provide access to descriptive collection data and suppress the display of material that does not have copyright clearance.

Highlight Specific Records
Use Möbius' built-in configuration module to select records for display, change page text, identify "Browse By" categories for easy searching, and build online exhibitions. You can feature specific items in the collection using Möbius' "In Focus" capability. These collection highlights may be changed at any time so that visitors will experience something new each time they return to your site.

Multiple Searching Options
Möbius provides different searching options to meet the needs of all types of users. Our keyword search scans all fields for matching records. For those who prefer a targeted approach, the Advanced Search page enables users to search specific fields. To assist with exploration, the system automatically generates unique vocabulary list of terms in each field, so users can browse through data. Selecting a term from the list guarantees that users will retrieve records.

Build Groups and Save Favorites
Visitors can create their own personalized groups of records and share them with others.

Integrate Digital Media
Use Möbius to integrate audio, video, and text files into your online collection. With one click of a button, your visitors can immediately access a related file for listening or viewing. With our auto-watermark setting, dynamic watermarks can be automatically applied to all of your digital images, saving the time and expense of creating alternate sets of images for online use.

Use for Kiosks and Read Only Access
Although Möbius was designed for online use, each license allows your site to deploy a second copy in house. It may appear in a kiosk, or on an Intranet for general staff access. Möbius is an excellent option for use at Information Desks to answer questions about objects on exhibit, or in lobby kiosks to help visitors enagage with the collection.
