Möbius
Web Publishing Software gives you the power
to put your collections on the web, in a kiosk,
or at an information desk for quick access by
your visitors. You decide what information and
images you want to show, how you want them to
display, and what additional media or data you
want to enhance your online presentations.
With Möbius' configuration module, you can select
records for display, identify "Browse By" categories
for easy searching, and build online exhibitions.
You can feature specific items in your collection
and select collections highlights using Möbius'
"In Focus" capability.
Möbius integrates media files into your online
collection. Visitors can access related digital
files for listening or viewing. Dynamic watermarks
protect all of your digital images and save the
time and expense of creating alternate sets of
images.
Möbius offers options for adding details about
associated people, events, places, subjects, sites,
vessels, and thesauri. By enriching records with
biographical, historical, and geographical context,
your website becomes an enhanced learning environment
for visitors.
You can use Möbius right out of the box or use
its open source templates to intergrate Möbius
with your current website. Cascading Style Sheets
(CSS) manage all the elements of your visual presentation
so you can quickly and easily change your color
palette, fonts, and font sizes. Möbius adheres
strictly to W3C defined standards and ships with
valid HTML 4.01 and CSS.
